Morten Storm a Danish Citizen and also the founder of Storm Bushcraft (now Storm Outdoors) was born in a small city called Korsor, Denmark. From Childhood to a childish Adulthood he has remained passionate about the outdoors firmly at home in the wilderness as well as a canoe . His travels have taken him to some of world’s most hostile and remote areas meeting the people and understanding the cultures and customs of the world. His recent adventures have taken him to Asia, the Middle East, Scandinavia, Africa and Scotland. Outstanding memories from Mortens travels include, living with the Beduins in the Deserts in the North of Yemen, hiking the Atlas Mountains in Marocco, and taking his Son (9) and eldest Daughter (7) on their very first 5 day canoe expedition in the Scottish wilderness. Morten's passion is Bushcraft and indigenous skills the more extreme the better! He is at home from the Desert to the Arctic not to mention a master of the UK woodlands further discovering the outdoors he has developed a keen interest in Canoeing, Gorge Walking, first aid, white water safety and rescue training and Climbing. |
